This
story is by a Year 9 Student and was done as a meditation story for pupils
to listen and relax to.
Close your eyes and start to
breathe in and out through your
nose...................relax....................think of
nothing...........................nothing except your slow heavy
breathing.
You are going on a trip in your
mind..............remember to breathe in and out through your nose and
keep your eyes shut. Imagine that your head is feeling heavy, like someone
or something's pushing it down, your shoulders drop..........all your
muscles in your arms relax and your hands are relaxed. Your feet and
toes are still and relaxed.....your leg muscles are still and
relaxed.......
You are now feeling light, you can
lift yourself you're so light........you go up and up high in the sky.
What do you feel? Do you feel the cold breeze blow through your hair as
you're lifted into the sky?...................
You're feeling so light now, you're
tired after using all your strength to pull you up into the sky. You
get to the clouds, what do they look
like?..................white?.....................fluffy? Put your hands
out and feel them, are they soft, hard, cold, hot?.....................
Now look below, underneath you,
what do you see? People walking, talking, driving?........or are the
clouds blocking your view?
You now become heavier, feeling
your feet, coming back from numbness, your legs, your arms and your
shoulders............you slowly start to float back down through the
clouds.........what do you hear? The wind?.....
You're near to the ground and you
can see the dew on the newly grown grass in the sunset.......it is getting
dark and you land feet first on the ground...........stumbling to the
ground you fall asleep.
Now slowly open your eyes and
slowly lift your head.........................and stretch. Can you guess
where you've just been? Heaven.
