In your groups you need to design a new board game covering the problems of evil and suffering against God’s existence.
Key words to incorporate will be:
NATURAL EVIL – Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Famine etc
MORAL EVIL – Murder, War, 9/11, Bullying etc
SATAN / LUCIFER / THE DEVIL THE SERPENT / SNAKE
DIVINE INTERVENTION
FREE WILL, THE GARDEN OF EDEN, ADAM & EVE, HEAVEN / HELL
OMNIPOTENT (God All powerful)
OMNISCIENT (God all knowing) OMNIBENEVOLENT (God all loving)
BOARD CHARACTERS?
The Atheist (doesn’t believe in God)
The Agnostic (Not sure in God’s existence)
The Theist (Believes in God)
You will need to come up with a board game showing the key ideas.
You can design chance cards etc.
You will need to have a set of rules for the game.
You will be judged on how inventive you are, the presentation of your board game, the use of / coverage of key words and your rules.
