The Turin Shroud

Back to What happened to Jesus’ Body

The Turin Shroud is the cloth Jesus was wrapped in when he died. When he rose again from the dead his image was miraculously fixed on the cloth. Or was it?

The information can be used to help you answer the question about what happened to Jesus’ body or your teacher may set this as a stand alone research project as set out below.

This is the question which has long since caused debate over whether this really is Jesus’ burial shroud. Your task is to research what people have found out, both for and against the shroud. You will then have to come to your own conclusion, giving examples as to whether you think the shroud is true or false.

The title is ‘ The Turin Shroud – Fact or Fiction.’
