There are different reasons why Christians believe in Resurrection. The most commonly quoted ones are:
1. The fact that Jesus spoke and taught about the resurrection whilst he was alive.
2. In the New Testament the resurrection is constantly talked about in the Gospels and also in St.Paul’s letters.
3. The confirmation in the New Testament that Jesus died on the cross and then rose three days later from the dead.
4. The Church teach about the resurrection it is a central part of the Christian Creed – ‘ And on the third day he rose..’
